    Ok,...I tried installing the FRPP tach adapter at the computer in the passenger kickwell,.....the tach worked well, but so did the check engine light!,.....As soon as I disconnected the wiring, the check engine light went out. So, I guess you really do have to install it in the engine compartment.

    I'm thinking about a fixed back seat like the Corbeau FX1. Anybody have any thoughts on those? I've deleted my rear seat and don't require much access to the rear area. The solid support and low weight of these seats might make it worth it. What do you think?
