    if your stock shocks and struts are still good and not worn out, you can put in lowering springs, but it will wear out the stockers that much faster now. If its worn out, spend the extra money for aftermarket shocks and struts. In my opinion, you might as well put in new shocks and struts...

    you might as well do it yourself, its cheaper in the long run and its not hard to do. There are several PC 7424 packages out there that include backing plate, a few pads and polishes for under $200.

    really not hard to fix with a random orbital like the PC 7424 or a flex. If it's just marring from using a compound then a light polish will do the trick. You can do it by hand with a microfiber polishing or foam pad, but it's going to take a lot of effort.

    a claybar or a wax will not remove swirls. How bad are the swirls? if they are faint/light swirls then a finishing polish with some light cutting fix it. If it's any worse than that you will need to get it buffed with a machine and a more aggressive polish. You can use a glaze as a filler...

    then wouldn't it make the noise when the car is in neutral or Park? It only makes noise when the car is in gear and accelerating.
