    I was in the SAME situation as you ,I`m going to build a 408 later but I have a 308 now.After I built the 308 I found out that one of my ported `65 289 heads(54 cc) with 1.94/1.60`valves was cracked. I had`nt had the block zero decked because I figured the 289 heads would yeild a little over 10...

    Hood pins

    We are getting a 3" cowl Hood for my sons `87 LX soon and would like some input from you guys on what name brand of hood pins you like. I know there are some of the cheaper ones that will get rust on them pretty quick :nonono: and that is something we dont want.

    How about a Dugan Racing 3 inch cowl hood does anyone have one? I live in Georgia so I would just drive up and pick it up to save the shipping. I just wish I could hear from someone who has one first before making the 130 mile ride to pick it up.

    What do you guys think of WATER WETTER?

    I used it in my 1989 Bronco II ... I had aftermarket guages and with a stock 198 thermostat it ran at 210 after it was warmed up around town. All I did was pour in a bottle of the Water Wetter and from then on it stayed at 199. Good stuff.

    well at the local track around here my dad said that he saw a supra the looked stock other the the slicks that ran 10s,but 3 honda's in the same town and there all friends with you,some how I dont think so.Ask them to show you time slips (purple87lx)
