    My x-mas gift to myself. This is my first “new” GM product and the only practical vehicle I could find that still goes like hell. It’s really fun to drive but Chevy has this thing torque managed to death (glad to see ford isn’t the only auto maker doing it). Some tuning should work wonders...

    15.3 doesn't sound right

    I used to bracket race my old '88 GT (AOD / 2.73 gears) 120k daily driver. It ran consistent 14.9-15.0 with only 14 degrees of base timing and the air silencer removed. Slow by today’s standards but back in the early 90's it wasn't too bad.

    question for Chicago residents

    I feel your pain... I'm going through the same issues. I recently relocated from the NE burbs of Detroit (no smog testing, no front plate) to the NW burbs of Chicago. My LX doesn’t have any smog equipment and it runs leaded gas. Also, I can't see myself drilling holes in the front bumper covers...

    How about a Camaro with a Ford motor... I found this on another site… http://users.adelphia.net/~rderaad/HTM%20Pages/Main.htm It makes up for every Ford product I’ve ever seen with a Chevy motor in it. :D My $.02 I understand why hot rodders started swapping SBC's in Ford street...

    Sorry for the delayed responce... Here is a thread on SVTP talking about 93R rear brakes. http://svtperformance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=320061 ...yes they are vented.

    SVT focus

    I've had my 03 SVT Focus since Oct. and it's been a great car and extremely fun to drive. As far as superchargers I know Vortech has kit. Over on focaljet.com there is a thread that a guy claims 260 fwhp with 9psi.
