No idea, it was a very small piece that got by. I was running the canton pickup, and I think they have a ****ty screen.

Should have been my first 11second pass.

I had the same exact problem on my 331. I used the dipstick in the stock location on the block, block had girdle. Girdle deflected dipstick into the counterweights of the crank. Crank sheered off dipstick tip. Dispstick tip went into oil pump, oil pump seized. Seized pump twisted pump drive...

Will the V7 YSI fit the same brackets as the T-Trim on the SN-95 Cars. How about clearance, is it physically larger? Thanks

    Motor install

Almost done. I have to finish fabricating the bypass valve piping and the engine vent system. I am ditching the factory coolant recovery tank and relocating the power train control module. In the near future the battery is going to the trunk also. Hopefully fire it this weekend.

    low boost #s

What are you spinning the motor too RPM wise. I made 16# with a 2.95 and 7" crank on my 331, good for 660 at the wheels. I had a ported gt40 lower downs for upper, stock Vic Jr's, power pipe, 75mm TB 1 3/4 LT

Techniques to put tranny in from under car.....

I use long studs to guide the trans on with the mounting ears. Then pull them one at a time and replace with the hex head bolts. I do not like any stress put on the front when in the clutch disk. I used to do a few cast iron 4spds long ago the same way.
