    update; this is what it's doing. when you put the key in and turn it, at times you can hear the fan kick on and it wont start, but other times the fan doesnt kick on and it starts right up. sometimes the fan will kick on then stop, when it stops thats when you can start her up...

    hello to all. my daughter drives a 1992 LX 4cyl mustang. sometimes when she gets in to start it she will turn the key and the rad fan kicks on and it wont start. after cycling the key a few times the fan turns off and the car starts up, what could be the problem?

    i did not have to drill and tap anything for the dist hold down, the hole was there. all i had to do was get rid of the sensor on the crankshaft and then put my pullies on and i was good to go.

    i've seen in some mini stock catalogs that there is a part that is used to limit the flow of oil to the head thus sending more to the block. Has anyone ever used one? does anyone know where it gets installed?

    yes the internals are there. im running a 1993 block in my 87 with the 87 head on it. i kept the head due to the work i have done on it.

    as per the rules the bottom end is stock. it is all new though. the head has a little porting and you can only use the stock cam. i have heard of the others milling but i can find out how much.
