    Read a write up for putting shoulder belts in a 61-66 ford pick up. Basically the guy used a coat hanger to fish the backing plate behind the sheet metal, then installed a bolt to keep it from falling between the inner and outer sheet metal layers. Then welded it in place.

    Would a heat gun be hot enough? I do admit, I am not familiar with the product. You actually rub fire over the sound deadener?

    Josh is back from the dead! Fwiw, scrap metal prices are pretty high right now. A few of the local crackhead scrappers I have spoken with, are scrapping whatever they can get thier grubby hands on.

    Found a 2001 GT on craigslist. The guy is asking $2,000 OBO. Car has a blown engine after overheating. 115,000 on chasis and drivetrain. I have found on CL an 03 mustang 4.6L for $1450, and a "4.6L R code" for $975. Good deal? Too much work? Any major engine compatability issues...

    IIRC, the shorter ones are for the turn signals and the longer ones are for the idiot lights. Although its been a few years since I took it apart.
