    So would the bushing in the upper control arm be the only other culprit for making this noise? I wouldn't mind just buying a new control arm (since I've got new lower control arms for the front, might as well get a set for the rear)...

    Ok, so I jacked up the rear, and pushed/pulled on the tires left/right/up/down, and they are pretty solid.. Now I'm thinking a bushing of some kind? I remember having an old explorer that had a bushing pretty much rot away, and any HARD bump would cause an excruciating popping sound.. Any ideas?

    Yea, the popping is pretty dang loud. Best way to check the bearings is to take off the rear wheel and inspect it from there??

    More than likely getting a Borla side exhaust kit.

    Wow... sounds like a great deal! And not to rain on your parade, but I've heard that having side exhaust would reduce hp, not increase it because of the way the air has to almost reverse flow to exit the side tips.. But that's just what I've heard....

    ****ING RIGHT!!!

    There's a gas station right around the corner from me, and a coworker tells me that the meter isn't right, that it pumps more gas than it says. So I go to fill up when on empty a month ago, and sure as **it, meter says I filled up with 8.5 gallons!!! :rolleyes: Which comes out to be around...
