Sold my Mach and ordered a....

Well thanks for bursting my bubble.:rlaugh: All i said is it MIGHT have some collectability, don't really care if it does or not. Bought it to enjoy it. Paid below MSRP and don't put any stock in car mags opinions. Don't care how fast new Vettes are, they look like dick, they didn't make a...

Sold my Mach and ordered a....

Thanks! I took it on a a few rough roads to get a feel for the suspension and i can live with it. Didn't feel much more harsh than my stock Mach really, maybe due to the little longer wheelbase and new platform. It will be just a weekend driver anyway like the Mach was.

Sold my Mach and ordered a....

New Shelby GT. Tough decision but i did it. I bought the Mach new and it was garaged and pampered with only 9,100 miles on the clock. Took a deposit on it Sunday from a fellow in Indiana. Last year we bought a new 06 GT auto for my wife and the more seat time i spent in it, i realized the new...

    What about that Boss article?

I did well on mine too. I paid $21,772 for mine on A-plan and with rebates that were offered at the time. It stickered at $29,760. Bought an 06 GT a few mo. ago which is the wife's daily driver, Mach's pretty much a garage queen i guess only 8,400 miles. Never paid sticker for a car or truck in...

    What about that Boss article?

Well, lets hope they do and don't mark it up. Although if do they produce it i'm not to optimistic about no markup. If they do make it and sell it with no markup, i'll get rid of my 03 Mach and buy one.

    A tricky question on rims

I wasn't sure if they were bare or Ford put a coating on them, so i tried a little wax on a small area. It worked great so i waxed em all a couple of times. Water beads up and their easy to clean. Helped perk up the shine also.

First test drive / 06 GT

One year ago we got rearend in her 02 Explorer. The guy hit us at 45 mph, didn't see us stopped at the light and never hit his brakes. He shoved us into the car in front of us and bent the frame and did $8,000 worth of damage. Then last Tues. she got rearended again, by a young girl in an 05 6...

Mach 1 Cobra or Mach 1

Combination of a few things. I liked the overall package of the Mach, very appealing to me. Car has enough power to satisfy me as i'm not trying to be the fastest guy in town anymore. Age has slowed me down somewhat i guess you could say. Nobody would A-plan a Cobra. Got the Mach on A-plan and...

    Mach 1 Completly stock...

I didn't buy mine as a future investment car, but in the same breath i'm a little hesitant to modify it to much since it is a limited edition car. I've done wheels, window tint, MGW interior dressup and the shifter. Driveline is entirely stock. These things are easy to return to stock. Its pure...

Mach 1 Opions on this price

I wouldn't go more than $21,500 as long as you don't have a problem with it being an auto. The auto's have a cast crank and the manual's have a forged crank. I paid $21,700 for mine new with 32 miles on the clock with A-plan and rebates.

    Why no hood scoop?

Wow! our local dealer gets $700.00 to mount and paint their scoop, and i thought that was a little high.
