    Minor differences between '01 and '04 Gt's

    Don't forget the badges! The 04's have the 40 year anniv. badge while the 01's have the GT badge. I could be mistaken, but I belive that anniv badge adds at least 12 horsepower.

    aluminum polish bullit rims lip??

    Thanks for the input. I think there is a clearcoat over the top because it doesn't have that "metal feel" that it looks like it should (if that made any sense). However I will try a little spot to see if it blackens.

    I've got some Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish that does wonders on by billit interior pieces and my friends mag wheel and was wondering if I could use this stuff on the edge on my stock Bullit rims. The edge looks like brushed aluminum but I'm still not sure if it's safe. Any success/failure...

    I have a 2001 laser red gt (if you couldn't tell by my name) that has great paint with the exception of slight swirl marks. I've seen the raves about the Porter Cable device but it's too expensive IMO. Those orbital buffer/polishers seem too weak and the other brand random orbit...

    1,500 to spend on exhaust any tips

    I'd say pocket 800 bucks and spend the other 700 on a Borla catback and a good quality offroad h-pipe. Thats what i have and teh sound is amazing. Smooth at cruising speed but just wicked, car alarm setting loud at WOT. YOu will love it and not many people have this setup.
