What's involved in installing a set of LCA's?

Yea, I put the jack under the diff. and lowered the whole thing, took the lowers off, then the uppers, put the new uppers on, jacked the axle back up, put the lowers on and greased/bolted everything back up. And yep, I got your PM's, you should have a couple I just sent back to you.

    How many of you?...

Why do I look at my tach while driving in town? To see how much oil pressure I have in my gas tank when I'm at full boost of course!

What Kind Of Wheels should I get?

I don't know how much you're looking to spend, but Bogart makes some sweet wheels for our cars. I didn't even ask what a 17x9 would cost when I saw a 15x8 D-10 sitting on a vendor's table with a sticker price of $390 a piece.

    magnaflow exhaust

Don't know if you bought anything yet, but www.hottexhaust.com is where I bought my magnaflow exhaust. They give a discount for mentioning Stangnet and there are no taxes, and no shipping or handling fees. Check their website, and then give them a call, I bought my catback with the magnapack...

    cruising rpms?

2000rpm's here. Anything less and the motor bogs down a little on steep hills.

    New to the 4.6L gen.

He sold it for the same reason he sold me his 95. A massive speeding ticket, a smaller speeding ticket, and an underage drinking citation(he's of age now and got out of it, because apparently it's not illegal to walk to the gas station at 2am dead sober....lol, and the officer was put on a...

    New to the 4.6L gen.

My 95 5.0 came with 215hp from the factory (pathetic). The reason for this is because Ford's h/c/i combination is piss poor unless you have an svt product. I want to start with something that is newer and more advanced from the factory instead of spending money upgrading everything on the car...

    New to the 4.6L gen.

Yea, so far I'm sold on the simplicity of modifying a 4.6......plus the stock computer is way better than my $hitty EEC-IV. I like the fact that the car would be at least 5 years newer, with more factory horsepower and torque in a lighter car. My friend just sold a red 35th aniversary with...

    Cam & Fuel Pressure

I have an E cam and my car bogs down low too. I fixed most of the bogging by playing with the timing. Also make sure your distributor is not a tooth off. Sorry I can't help with the fuel pressure.

    New to the 4.6L gen.

As you might have guessed from my login name, I have a 95. Problem is that I need about 3,000 in body work done, and I keep replacing broken or worn out parts since I have 103K on the car. I'm interested in buying a 2000 or newer mustang, but know nothing about the 4.6L engine. It is to my...

    Pulled Over

I'm not trying to make believers out of anyone. I've been pulled over before and given no mercy whatsoever. I have no proof since I wasn't given a ticket, but if I was gonna tell a story I'd make it better than that. All I know is that my speeding will be kept inside the track from now on.

    polishing aluminum wheels

Killercanary.....YOU ARE MY HERO....THANK YOU!!! :flag: Oh yea, I went back to Sears to bitch about the two rims they pulled for inspection (yea I had to go there cause they were the only place open on a saturday afternoon). Turns out they didn't hand torque them like I asked....and like...

what throttle body should I get???

Headers would probably give you more significant gains at this point. But if you're dead set on a TB then I'd go with the 70mm if you plan on doing more performance mods such as H/C/I.

    intake manifold adapter?

I would go with the TF 75mm elbow, since the opening on the street heat upper comes in 75mm and 90mm openings I do believe(I'm not dead sure, but I think that's right), and if you ever decide to get a larger TB then you'll be limited by the adapter size if you got the FRPP elbow. Oh yea, are...

    polishing aluminum wheels

yep, that's the polish I used and I just about rubbed my hands raw trying to do it(tried to polish them while on the car :notnice: ) You think maybe the same polish with a high speed drill and a buffing pad would do the trick?

    polishing aluminum wheels

I have stains all over my eagle 077 polish rims and can't get it off (used some $hitty wheel cleaner when the rims were hot and it baked on). What tools...aka drill, wet sandpaper, buffing pad, etc... will be the best for doing this job? I tried doing it by hand with some aluminum polish and a...

    Pulled Over

yea he was extremely nice. The only reason I was going that fast was because of the 6 hour drive and me wanting to get home in a hurry. Trust me, it won't ever be happening again!!! :nonono: The next day I got the car inspected, found the new registration, put that sticker on, waxed the car...

I agree, but exhaust would be high on the list, especially headers.
