I have a 92 5.0 with an 89 motor. I have a leak at the low oil sensor even...
for those that plugged it and discarded the sensor, did you bypass the low oil light? or did you just take the bulb out from behind the dash? also, how did the rtv work out? should rtv be applied on both sides of the gasket or just the oil pan side?
So, I have an ongoing leak from my sensor. Ive replaced the gasket before but it still leaks,,,,even after cleaning the surface prior to installing the new gasket. Would you all recommend rtv or some kind of sealant in addition to the gasket?
so got some arp ext studs 2.5” going in my stock 4 lug axles. mm says to drill out axle flange with a 39/64” drill bit so arp one will fit. cant find a drill bit in that size. would a hole file work or a 5/8” drill bit work?
thnx
hey so I want to add 1/2 inch wheel spacers to push my rear wheels out to be flush with the fender or close to it. I have 93 cobras and it is a stock 4 lug drum setup in the rear. I see lmr has 2.5 inch studs and cjpp has 3inch studs, both arp. does anyone know if the 2.5 inch studs are better...
try to swap clusters and see if that works. on mines, the rear of the cluster had a bad connection so it wasnt illuminating the battery light at koeo. if that light doesnt come on then the alternator is not charging the battery.
finally took those god forsaken ssm lift bars off. what a pain in the ass. took me 9 hours on jack stands so space was limited and my body was not going with the program. im old i guess. grinding off the old plates and bending the axle side stock lower mounting plates so my MM LCA's could fit...
bringin it back
so i want to take off my ssm rear lca's. it looks like i need to take a die grinder to remove the bracket at the axleside? or can i leave it on? im going with MM rear lca's
