    Can you paint exhaust pipes?

    i know jet hot makes different paint colors you can get. ive seen black, silver, and ford blue. as for painting it yourself i know duplicolor makes ceramic paint for engine blocks, dont know how it would hold up on exhaust pipe.

    thats the brake caliper bracket. usually if you buy a loaded caliper it will come with that bracket and brake pads. thats how we do at my shop anyway:shrug:

    i probly sound dumb askin this

    to get the rotor off you have to remove the brake caliper and the bracket. the rotor might be really rusted on but a few taps with a hammer from the back should get them off.:nice:

    cooling problem!

    are you sure that you properly burped the cooling sytem after replacing the T-stat?:shrug: usually if you are blowing cold air it means that there is trapped air in the cooling system. this would also explain your overheating issues

    the fronts are as easy to convert as unbolting the old ones and bolting on the new. the rears are a little more complicated. you need the new rotors and a set of cobra pads,the calipers are the same. and you also will need a set of cobra caliper brackets, this is what bolts to the axle...

    Pops in exhaust what's going on??

    is it only the 1-2 shift? at idle or only under a load? where is the noise heard? is it possible that it is a back fire or just the sound of your paticular exhaust combo?:shrug:

    porting heads while bolted on?

    :stupid: agreed. you will most likely get metal in the cylinders no matter how careful you are. :stupid: i also agree that if your doing the intake just get a head gasket kit and pull the heads. then you can really do a good job and port and polish both the intake and exhaust.
