    Hey, thanks for all the info. After looking at the block in better light it is C5AE. So I guess I have the stock block and 66 heads. Are there any difference in the 65 to 66 heads?

    I will recheck it when I get home tonight and scrape away the rest of the gunk on the block. If it were D5AE it would be a 302 right and not a 289? Also where do you get this kind of info? Thanks for the help.
