    Pretty much have to pull the HVAC box from the firewall to replace it, you may as well do a heater core while you're there. Mine in my 91 is squeaking and drives me crazy, I just dread fixing it

    Well, I finally got someone with clarion on the phone, they told me that a previous owner had to have set a code for it to be locked, i tried the code they gave me and it did not work. So basically if I cannot contact the previous owner and get the code it has to be replaced

    I have a clarion CX609, after being unhooked it is now locked. Called customer service, only option on there is for dealers, I tried it and was on hold FOREVER. Anyone have any experience unlocking one of these before I toss it in the trash :mad:
