    Had the same problem, it can be done without pulling the engine like jrichker said. He and black1987stang both are right on the money with their replies.

    1970 351w heads on 5.0?

    Not sure if it will work. I have a set of 69 high performance 390 heads, will these bolt up to a 5.0 w/B-cam, shorties 70mm throttle body, & cobra intake? These heads are just sitting on the shelf in Dad's garage. I was told I could have them, but need to know if they will work. Thanks in advance.

    How do you remove the ignition cylinder???

    I had to pull the entire shaft,because the cylinder would not turn (possibly the tumbler wnet bad in the cylinder), pulled the bolt on the shaft under the hood. Then pulled the steering wheel, disconnected all attached plugs & the bolts holding the shaft at the dash. The shaft was then pulled up...

    Where does your oil pressure gauge read while idling & while driving. Mine reads aout half way while idling & within the first two notches while driving, but sometimes jumps higher then drops back down. Is this a sign of the oil pump failing?:shrug:

    Like I said I have the 93 cobra wheels on there now, but thought about chrome. I sold my chrome ponies & miss the chrome look. I'm at work now with light drizzle, I will post a pic soon.

    got pulled over tonight!!

    :lol: Great joke!! It must be a stang thing, cause I was pulled over two night ago in the rain, the cop told me I was speeding (62 in a 45). He stated that he clocked me travelling in the opposite direction, turned around & followed me for 1/4 mile, then pulled me over & gave me a warning.:shrug:

    I'm having the same problem with my 89 GT, hopefully someone can help. I will check the IAC, but wouldn't the check engine light come on? Stangman where are you located? I'm in Memphis.
