    Bypassing amp ?'s

    wouldn't it be the same if I used the factory speaker wires....since they are already run throughout the car and then the power, ground, acc? I mean in theory it should work right?

    O.k. so I've been told to bypass my factory amp because there is only sound coming from my subs and not my speakers. Here is my problem: the girl who had the car before me had her stereo butchered and they cut off the harnesses into the headunit(now there's just wires). So I spliced my head...

    repainting interior..have questions

    I just did my interior last week. I did it all. The only other recomendation I can make is after you wash it just hit it with some very fine steel wool. This helps to give it even more adhesion. With the steel wool and the prep paint it should stick real good. Good Luck!

    No sound...factory amp?

    UPDATE: I had the remote wire into the factory wire for the remote and switched it to the remote wire on the HU. Now only my subs work. Does this help diagnose the problem? If it is the factory amp where can I buy a bypass harness?

    o.k that sounds logical. But that won't help my subs. There is no sound coming from them either! I'm at a loss.

    Alright here's my problem. My aftermarket head unit comes on and lights up but no sound comes out. No sound comes from my subs or my other speakers. I checked previous posts on here but am still confused anybody have a clue? I am thinking factory amp but how would i check (in detail) to see...

    In a jam...please help

    Does anybody know why the fuse that runs my gauges and speedometer would continuously blow? It's aggravating...i've replaced it 5 times now. Any help is appreciated.
