    OK. I've been using 6 quarts of Mobil 1 5w30 for years now with no problems at all. Should I switch to 5w20 for the faster drainback rates and added safety at higher rpms and g loads or should I stick with the 5w30 due to the blower?

    Yeah, but they don't usualy make out so well when they do that. They tend to get their pistons expanding faster than the cylinder walls once they hold those high loads for too long. Then bad things happen.

    Could be a bad coil... Did you wash your engine recently? Is there any moisture in the plug wells? Can you answer any of trinity's questions (check engine light)?

    How do you know it's running way too rich? Like said above, exhaust almost never will affect your A/F. Sounds more like a spark issue.

    If you are using a 98 gt ecu, you need to have the correct MAF and injectors for that ecu. What injectors and maf are you running? What transmission did the 98 GT autos have? Not sure if that would make a difference. Your fuel pressure seems to be spot on.

    Does the new pump come with the pulley installed? If not, you will need both the pulley removal and installation tools. They are specific for the PS pump.
