I just simply cannot find the PVC Valve

Yup. Slap the vacuum hose on top and you're set. I would also check to make sure that the screen that's supposed to be down in the hole of the lower intake isn't in there and all clogged up.

I just simply cannot find the PVC Valve

Does it have a black plastic piece on top, with two "nipples" on it? If so, that plastic piece comes off and will work like that. I got thrown for a loop the first time I bought a PCV valve and was handed that until I figured it out. lol

Anyone running Steeda Yella Terra 1.72 rockers?

Part number ST-2028? Think there will be any issues with valve cover clearance? Anything else I may run into if I go with these? Mods are in the sig. Thanks in advance. :hail2:

Anyone run a Comp Cams XE270HR?

I also have that cam - 114lsa. Great cam and it got this pig of a car down the 1320 pretty nicely. I like it. :)

Where to get long bolts for cobra intake+spacer

My friend Anthony just went through this with his Cobra intake. He wound up going to Home Depot and getting threaded rod and caps for the four longer bolts that are needed. I'd say that's your best bet. Good luck. :nice:

Question for you guys with the bucking/surging/running rich problems...

How many of you guys with this problem have removed the charcoal canister (and left the vent line open to the atmosphere)? What about the vacuum line to the EGR - have you guys removed that, too? I'm trying to rack my brain as to why the car runs really rich out of the blue and then...

    What is a 5.0 H.O. M?

If the car had an "M" in the VIN means it's an '86 H.O. motor - E6 heads, smaller TB, flat top pistons and smaller intake. That's what my '87 used to have in it.

    bogging at the line

Absolutely. Always next year. :D And yeah, the down time was unreal today. I think I have hypothermia from sitting in the car for hours before running again. LMAO Anyways, enough BS from me. Maybe I'll see ya down there next year and good luck, dude. :nice:

    bogging at the line

Hey man...I was there today, too and saw your car. Only caught a few glimpses of it, but it looks like it's in great shape! What did you wind up running today? My three runs were pretty close to what's in the signature, only with a tenth better 60' (but no improvement in ET - go figure lol).

Where are you going to mount the wideband O2? I ask because our motors use two O2s, but there's only one sensor supplied. Also, for anyone interested, I looked it up and here's the link: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/

    For raph130 to prove anything!

Hold up a second...I thought this was all about a stock car with only gears going 12's? I'm still holding out waiting for an article on that. C'mon, raph...hook me up!! :rlaugh:

    For raph130 to prove anything!

So then find the proof that shows 12's with only gears. Surely you have a timeslip or two for your car to shut everyone up?

do my times sound slow for my car?

Going by my first run, the last time I was at the track 2 Friday's ago, that's about a 14.4 run or so, which isn't all that bad at all. A little more practice launching the car (getting the 60' times down), and you're knocking on the 13's. Good luck, dude! :nice:
