Question for you guys with the bucking/surging/running rich problems...

How many of you guys with this problem have removed the charcoal canister (and left the vent line open to the atmosphere)?

What about the vacuum line to the EGR - have you guys removed that, too?

I'm trying to rack my brain as to why the car runs really rich out of the blue and then clears up, and it all leads to the day that I yanked that stuff out.

So, I'm just curious if these things may be the main players with this problem...? What say you guys?

well my car runs rich, has for a while, i replaced my egr valve, egr valve sensor, tps sensor, ect sensor, pcv valve and i redid my intake manifold gaskets and it still runs rich and idles wierd sometimes, ive checked all my vac lines and redone all of them and still have the same problem.
