VENT : I can't stand this shop sometimes

Dude seriously make sure those asswipes didn't take parts (rotating assembly out of your car). I can't imagine that it could take that long. I would seriously check the motor over and over again b4 I left the shop to make sure it was what you gave them. I serioulsy would be highly worried...

VENT : I can't stand this shop sometimes

Ha, burnout will be fine. The only reason why it's taking so long is the dude has been driving it around. :D lets hope not!!!

Going supercharged, what will i need to change?

I would say Auto or Manual makes a difference. Take it one step higher with an Auto. Also the year stanger you got makes a difference as well. Honest I don't know what is good for blower but 3:73 to 4:10 would be my guess. Wouldn't a higher gear get your RPM's higher faster where you are...

Why are so guys running TFS Track Heats and Performer RPM intakes????

All in the combo... I had 324.5 RWHP on a stock block with H/C/I. I had edelbrock performer stage II (flows 275), AFM b2 cam, TFS stage II ported (~flowed 280-290 at .600). I made 324.5 RWHP after a dyno tune at AFM. All i got to say is this car scooted. My track times were not good since I...

    CLUTCH & PRESSURE PLATE

Why is it bad to run a turbo with AL flywheel? I also run an AL balancer. Well I really should ask if these are quality good parts. Since I haven't installed them I can still order something else. It seems like everything has bit me in the a$$ and walet in regards to buying the not so...

    CLUTCH & PRESSURE PLATE

I ordered a new 900 Series RAM clutch (PART # RAM-905) and Pressure plate (PART # RAM-403) to go along with my Fidanza aluminum flywheel. Does anyone see a problem with this combination?

331 motor and dip stick acting funny...

Ok, I'm no genius as to what this could be but I have a 331 stroker and when driving the dip stick comes flying out along with oil. Now mind you it doesn't happen until higher rpm's 5k and higher. What the hell is going on here? I didn't have breather cap at first but I do now and I notice...

    TRACTION PROBLEMS... Rant

Well I did notice that running 25lbs of pressure and a burn out I got traction but I had to take it easy out of the hole and I couldn't completely floor it. So I know there is hope for these tires but suspension is my next agenda because I want to come outta the whole at 5k. After I do beef up...

    TRACTION PROBLEMS... Rant

What about a pan hard bar? Not sure if that's what it's called? I agree with the drag springs and the lakewood shocks/struts but is there anything else? I have considered removing my sway bar.

    TRACTION PROBLEMS... Rant

I'm regretting a lot of past decisions that I made to my car now! :bang: Alright, back when my car was lightly modified I bought some suspension mods. I bought FMC B springs which lowered and stiffened up my ride. I bought Hotchkiss control arms and had the pinion angle done. I bought...

Need help-306 or 331 for a daily driver

331 is my vote. 331 in theory should last longer then a 347. The force of the pistons on the cylinder walls isn't as great in a 331. It's true 347's have come a long way but I would presonaly go with the 331 and that's what I did do with mine.
