    Bolt on Cowl Induction scoop

Did you try just reversing your original scoop? My 78 II had the scoop backwards like your new one. Might be all you need. BTW welcome and love the look of your car.

    New V6 owner

My friend has a Grabber Orange. I spent the money on the Ford 200 series auto start, and that came with a remote trunk release. Thanks though.

    emission light when on......

I know there are some scenarios that would turn on the check engine light on other card when the fuel cap is off with engine running. ie filling up with engine running. Have you done that? Justa a guess as I have no solid info. Depending on where you are some auto parts places will read your...

    95 Mustang V6 in a II

Some of you might not look at the other forums here so I'll update this thread. I bought a 08 Mustang for the wife and to my surprise found out that in 05 Ford switched to the 60 degree cologne V6 in the mustang. ( know it also says the in this thread) thanks a351Must2 So I am now in full...

    New V6 owner

Hi. We just bought an 08 V6 so I though I'd say hi. Mostly I am over at the MII board as I have a 78 t-top car I am restoring. Also a 95 black convertible. The new one is a vista blue with the Pony package. Anyone here changed their intake manifold yet? I was looking under the hood last night...

    Carburetor on a 4.0???

Glad I found your thread. My wife just got an 08 V6 and I have been researching the same swap into a 78 MII. Looks like you are looking at the same thing. Have you done any rough measurements? I would think that there asre some 90's Rangers that still had carbs. The block as far as I can...

    95 Mustang V6 in a II

The 1999-2000 explorers had the 4.0L pushrod V6. I think that is what I am going to look at first. It is the same family block as the 2.8L. Unless the later OHV 4.0L are compact enough to fit, I think it might be too tall.

    95 Mustang V6 in a II

Yeah I was thinking of the 4.0L engine that uses the Cologne block. The 3.8 is a 90 degree V6 and I'm sure there would be a lot more issues. Ironically I have a 3.8 Windstar and I think that contributed to the brain fart. I'll keep looking. Perhaps I'll find a 2000 4.0L Mazda truck donor kicking...

    95 Mustang V6 in a II

Latest quick fix idea is to drop a 95 Mustang V6 and 5 spd tranny in my 78. Anyone on here know if this has been done? I found a donor car at the wreckers and think all the parts I need are still there. I think it is still a 3.8 so same block but EFI. Thoughts??

    what seats fit?

Do you know if the MII seat brackets sit the seat lower than the 79-93's ? I find that the seats I installed from that era sit quite high. I might look for some Escort GT seats next.

    what seats fit?

I have a set of fox body Gt seats in mine but find the seating position is quite high. Make sure you use what ever brackets lower the seat height the most.

Pair of KC's for sale in B.C.

Check your PMs. "I really just need to get a basic body shell for what I am going to do now." I was in touch with a couple of people this summer. Could try and find the numbers again.

Wiring issues - 1976 Mustang II

Within a couple of hours? How sure are you of the battery? If possible I would start by trying a known good battery.
