    What 1/8 mile times do you run? Look at 1/4 mile time slips that people have posted. Most tracks also include 1000 foot times. Here is mine.

    245-45-17 tire 3.73:1 rear 6000 rpm 4th gear is 122.96 MPH 28" tall tire 4.10 rear 6000 rpm 4th gear is 121.95 MPH Like almost identical don't they. :D

    Remember it is normal for the MPH to drop some when you get the car to hook and run good early in the run.

    While tire size does vary by brand, calculating a 245-45-17 (stock on my '00) = 25.681" and a 275-40-17 = 25.661". Try working with air pressure and take some larger steps and see how the 60 foot time react.

    What size (height) are your rear tires? The taller they are the smaller your 2.73 looks and the shorter they are the bigger it looks (this is what you want).

    If you can launch without the bog 1.9 60 foot times are there. A 8.xx 1/8 is not far behind.

    With the cams advanced you will build greater cylinder pressure (this is your increased torque). You should be able to see the different in a compression test. You should see an increase in gas mileage.
