    drain coolant system first.... will need oil change when all is said and done. don't use the end seals, use a thick bead of silicone (my preference is "Right stuff") uhh oh ya lay the lower intake on with gaskets and check the port alignment, if it's off you may need to mill the manifold...

    heh that's exactly what my car does. It's normal don't worry, below the N is about 180. So during freeway driving you're hitting the T-stat, on the street your fan isn't coming on until 208 so it'll allow the temp to get higher. And when you're flooring it well obviously that makes a bunch...

    I might be able to score a tremec 5 speed out of a 93 cobra for around $150... problem is the guy says it was ran out of oil and 1st and 2nd are making some god aweful noise above 2k RPM.... so obviously it's gonna need a full rebuild with bearings and probably some hard parts....     you sure they weren't stuck open instead of not firing? Looks like some reversion going on... which is normal to some point. If those ports are drowning in fuel I can see that happening. Either that or possibly leaking intake valves...

    you can't just point the balancer at 0 and call that TDC #1, it's a 4 stroke engine there are 2 rotations for one power cycle. Pull the plug out of #1, put your thumb or finger over the plug hole and have a friend bump the motor until you feel air pushing out, then rotate the balancer back...

    has pulleys gears and a chip, it's always run on the warm side and all of the mods have been off at one time or another... It's just a plain turd :notnice:. Hey did you get a motor with that parts cobra? :D

    Another update, I swapped to the stock crank and waterpump pulleys, made no appreciable difference. Today I put in a new radiator (got a good deal so figured what the hey) and of course that made no difference either. I flushed the system before I swapped radiators and the water was clear...

    Advice for fuel pump install on '94 GT 5.0

    uhh why don't you do some diagnosing first before you shotgun the fuel pump :nonono:. Heck just listen for the fuel pump prime when you turn the key on, does it make the sound?
