    I'm doing my darndest to learn basic metal shaping right now as I look to start the bodywork on this Jeep truck project. After playing with the 20 gauge steel for the 5.0's inner fender, I've got a ton to learn.

    Mike, did you just cut and weld the 20 gauge, or did you bend it to make your flares?

    So you buy the gauge at 80, show the cage around 100ish and post it on 108...lol. Then I get here and....you linked it. lol....no worries. Did you drill for the little threaded studs on the vent tabs?

    I've tried dry lube in the past, but believe anti-seize is an absolute must. The spring pressure with aluminum on aluminum contact is just a solid recipe for galling. I can't answer the Strange vs UPR question, but would love to hear the answer.

    I got her up to where I want her, but had her completely in the air. The wrench just doesn't work well. It works better once you take a file to it, but will still cost some hand injuries to get where you want to go.
