I just had a thought (actually I borrowed it from someone else) there should be a thread like this, call it 'butt pucker moments'
I think 'WTF moments ' would not be appropriate.

Original one still. And the vent cover is same one.

I know there’s pretty good access to get up under there. Glad they could save it. Hard to believe the cowl grille survived.

I know!! Was looking at it at shop, thought was a new one.

Wow mine hood fly up was mild and it destroyed the grill....Yours must have barely come up.

Put back together. They should get to detail it Monday. Hope to pick up next Wednesday.
