    1st 79 coupe. Straight six 200 2nd 67 coupe. Straight six 200 sprint. 3rd 86 GT. Bought brand new, supercharged and kept it for 15 years. 4th 95 GT convertible Future, either a 98 or 2003 Cobra.

    You show a C&L pipe, is that the meter also? I had the 76mm kit, and after a year of fighting with the pinging, I fixed it by putting the stock one back on.     What is the difference between the 96-98, and 03 ignition systems? Could the 03 system work on the 98, say to clean up the engine bay?

    I'm interested in buying a 98 Cobra, but 98 is fairly old for anyone to finance, and I just don't have $15K laying around. I was just wondering if anyone has bought an older car, and financed it? Who did you finance through?

    I say go for it. I ran 7lbs on my 86 for three years from 104K to 150K with no problems. Never blew a head gasket.

    One question. Does that Ford CD say what position the top should be in to check? Just curious. I just replaced my motor about a month ago, and it seemed if you filled the resevoir while the actuators are extended, it would be overfilled when retracted.

    Check for codes before you go buying parts. Mine used to do that, and it was the TP sensor.

    My 86 had 104K on it before I started modding. I supercharged it also. The car had no problems up to the time I sold it. My 95 has 174K on it now, and I'm still modding. I say go for it. If you supercharge, just watch your air fuel mix.

    I worked at a garage where the owners owned Peterbuilts to haul milk. When we changed the oil, and all the filters, we used to completely fill the fuel filter with transmission fluid. Works for deisels, why not cars. With that said, I wouldn't. There are a few products, as mentioned above...

    That Saleen hood is Sweet :nice: It gets my vote. I am pretty partial to the 96-98 Cobra's. My least favorite is the SVO... I know, I know, Alot of you guys have them. Just my opinion.
