94sc50, did you move your AC knobs? I am gathering parts right now to put a CarPC in my stang.. and if I move the AC knobs I can put a 7" LCD in that location. So my question is did you relocate them? and how hard was it? is it simply re routing some cables? Come to think of it.. I dont even know if they are manual cables or electronic switces lol

whats all this bad mouthing of silver interiors. geez man, some of us to have them... personally i love the look. not a big fan of chrome (sorry RC, but what can i say), i prefer colors. silver blends really good with the billet stuff that i have. like a brushed aluminum color. i need to some more pictures now that i got the digital camera working.

The cables are manual and unscrew from the back of the dials. Yes re-route them to where ever you want and it is a simple mod. I had them in the glove box before and then put them back on the dash again (trying to control it by flipping open the glove box is a PITA. :D

there is the look i am going for!

i have a triple black vert and there is just too much black. i like the silver accents and billet aluminum stuff.

please tell me how you did it!

ProKiller, your interrior looks great. The "silver" I was refering to was the stuff trying to imitate chrome/polished stuff that looks cheap. What color was on the label of the paint you used? Two :nice:

Those interiors looks awesome. I especially love 94sc50's interior, I'm just addicted to that color-changing stuff. PPG's Harlequin is so gorgeous... But anyway..

My car is black, and I think I'm going to do the interior over to a black/blue instead of the grey stock look. I intend to paint the car Electron Blue (yes, a GM paint, for shame, I know) so I think that would look nice, even now with the black paint until I get that paint on.

What paint should I use for this kind of job? Should I just scoot down to the local Chevy dealer and grab some Electron Blue, some of the darkest black I can find, some clearcoat and airbrush the pieces? Or is there a different type of paint used for interior bits?

Thanks in advance fellas~ :p

You can use the same as the exterior paint. You just need to mix it to the consistency of milk for the air brush. You can pick up an air brush kit at Wal-Mart for around $15.
