    SD cars, from what I've read, have slightly larger cams with faster ramp rates, no restriction in the inlet system (aka maf, no matter what size), and they also have more aggresive spark/fuel maps in the ecu.

    I'd go 3.55. Also, 3.73s in a 5.0 compare to 4.10s in a 4.6.

    It's a multiplication factor. Since the alphabet cams lift numbers are figured with 1.6 ratio rocker arms, you multiply it's lift by 1.1. The 0.1 we added is the additional lift provided by the 1.7s. Hope this made sense.

    Yeah, but I'm afraid of messing something up. I'm going to pick up an A9L and harness for $50. I just don't want to be on a hunt for a VSS. Also, where is the stock computer and what do I have to go through to get everything running.

    Anyone ran either of these cams with speed density? I was told that I could just drill a hole in the throttle body to make it idle alright. They said just keep going one bit size bigger until it would idle OK.

    I have a set of Comp Cams valvesprings with 130lbs. pressure I obtained free of charge. Would these be too much for an E303 cam? I don't know much about spring rates, but I do know improper rates can dramatically effect power. Thanks, sorry to trail off topic. Didn't want to start another...
