    yes, but it was a 2.3 not a 2.8. here is a pic. The hood scoop has been raised to clear the air cleaner on the 460 but you get the idea. The 2.3 is sitting in my garage on a stand patiently waiting.

    Help! How to remove distributor drive gear?

    You need to tap the pin out and then use a puller to remove the gear. Just be patient and don't marr the shaft or mushroom the end of the shaft. Use a large socket to tap it back on. Make sure you line up the hole on the gear and shaft before tapping it back on.

    I have been debating going to Lou's Custom Exhaust. People have recommended them to me and I stopped by the shop one time and talked to them. The seemed like reasonable guys. The one in Boston is off of Mass. Ave after Melinea Cas heading towards South bay.

    Do the aftermarket plates allow for more camber. I always thought the plates just gave you the ability to adjust the castor. Still would like to swap the control arms to increase the track.

    Bob's K-Member Spacer Kit: http://fordifiedracing.homestead.com/kitinfo.html I have them installed in my 79. 460 w/stealth and a 14"x3" 2"dropped base air cleaner. I had to raise the turbo cowl an inch, but it fits nice. There are some pics on the site showing before and after.

    Posi and trac-lok are limited slip. Both tires will spin from a stand still. When turning they allow one wheel to spin a little slower. There is a clutch pack that allows this. If you goose it in a turn both wheels will have power applied to them. If you want to move up from a limited slip...

    2.3L tranny with 5.0L?

    It will fit. You can also use a 5-speed off a 5.0. Just need a different bearing. Ask in the 2.3 Forum for the best info. Or do a search in the tech article at the top.
