Won't go into 1st, 3rd and pops out of 5th

Glad ya found the problem! Usually when you're having shifting issues with more than one gear it can be related to something like that! I missed the part where you mentioned having the shift stops installed. Tremec specifically advises against using them w/aftermarket shifters...

Won't go into 1st, 3rd and pops out of 5th

since its more than one gear, and its popping out of another...I'd have to guess one of two things... Either your clutch is going south in a hurry, or its not engaging properly. If you don't have one already get a firewall adjuster and solid quadrant. If you've got the stock stuff...

    ABS light stays on

G'damn your fluid must've been extremely low for that to happen...or it may have been coincidence??? I know I've had ABS lights go away with just unhooking the battery...pretty finnicky system if you ask me....

my wheels are stock 97 GT wheels.

Except that a 255-45-17 makes your speedo read a tad high. Really though its the widest I would run on a stock size wheel unless we're talking about a 275-40-17 Nitto DR

body lines and gaps. not 100% perfect

Welcome to the wonderful world of snap together models! FWIW, Ford addressed alot of these issues with the S197...compare your SN95's body lines to a S197 and check out dem gaps! I've just come to live with it...hell my decklid has paint chips because it's not aligned perfectly

    ABS light stays on

brake fluid will not illuminate your ABS light. Are you running the same size wheels/tires from back to front? IE not fats and skinnies... Just remember when the ABS light is illuminated it indicates a problem with the system and turns it off. First thing I would do is disconnect the...

Chirp from engine at high rev shifting

Is the squeel before you push the clutch in? Just a high RPM squeel? I only ask because you mention shifting. I'd do the belt if it is just a high RPM squeel, but I'd look at your TOB if its only when you push the clutch in at high RPM

What could break free and be grinding in the diff?

Well lets see... To me that sounds like a couple things...you're either almost completely out of fluid, you lost a bearing, your gears were set up way wrong, or you lost some teeth on the ring and pinion gear. Eitherway, don't drive your car! Get an oil pan, pop that cover off and take a...

    Changing my Fuel pump

I would change your fuel filter first and clean or change your IAC before tackling the fuel pump. Just something to think about before you go dropping your tank, etc...

    Need Shocks

When you get them, if you have to install the bushings it should come with some grease for assembly. If it has zirk fittings on it, just use a good moly grease and grease them up when you install them. I usually regrease all my zirk fittings whenever I do an oil change. I forgot...some...

    Fuel Filter

I just pulled the cap off and let it sit for a while before I touched it. You still get some spillage though. Also remember you'll need the disconnect tool. Its the metal red one at Autozone etal

    Starter Installation Question

You either should've removed the prong from the old starter...or there should be a wire ready for splicing attatched to that post.

As I said in PM...go with a ProChamber(and LM1), you won't be disapointed! Here's a vid of what my car sounded like w/that set-up at the track... **Disclaimer** The 1-2 shift was babied so no jokes about the driving! Its for exhaust purposes only! :) http://media.putfile.com/DT23

New Car...what kind of tune up?

Change the oil/filter, Change the plugs, change the fuel filter, if its a manual change the trans fluid, if the rear is quiet; don't worry about the rear diff, change the air filter if needed...or re-oil if it is an oil type. Check your brake pads for wear, replace as needed, If the pads are...
