    Seafoamed car and drastic mpg improvement, but idle is bad

    Take the IAC off and clean it out. Also pull a plug and check it. A lot of times the seafoam thing fouls out the plugs.

    One real nice feature of the of the TrickFlow heads is they have replaceable cam caps. It seems small, but I see a lot of mod motors at work that are throw away due to oil starvation to the cams.

    Since you are adding fluid now, be aware that when you install new pads you will have to make sure to evacuate fluid from the master before you compress the caliper pistons. When I was in auto tech school before getting my ASE cert in brakes they repeated over and over to NEVER add brake fluid...

    Check the fluid level. The other reason that red light comes on besides the parking brake being applied is for a low fluid level. Generally that would indicate low friction material ie pads.

    Yes, but odds are that has an aluminum block which would knock about 100lbs off the front end of your Mustang and help handling tremendously.

    The steel line that goes around the inner brake line prevents it from swelling which gives a harder brake pedal. They can allow a supposed faster pedal response by not letting the hose swell before it applies force to the pistons in the caliper.

    Everyone seems to slam buyfordracing, but i had a great experience buying my Cobra R brakes from them about 6 years or so ago. They were more than willing to custom fit my order giving me the regular Cobra blank rotors vs the slotted ones. Shipping was very reasonable as well.

    you could always pull an axle and measure to see if it is bent. that is one nice thing about the 8.8", it isn't hard to pull an axle.

    There is no upper end kit even from Ford. All the gaskets including the supercharger and intercooler gaskets are sold individually. Take your VIN to a Ford parts dept and be prepared to be there a long time while they look up all the required gaskets.

    some background maybe? how many miles on the engine/vehicle? maintainence history? mods? other vehicles you may drive to compare (i ask because when i drove a 96 GT after my DD i wasnt used to how slow they are in comparison)

    Spark Plug Recommendation for a 2001 GT

    Just go with the Motorcraft plugs your car calls for. Don't worry about them for another 100k miles. Just think of all the possible plugs shooting out and ripping threads out of heads when you are constantly taking them in and out.

    The only reason to do shorty's is if you have the motor out of the car already and you live in a state like California where LT's are illegal and you want something a little better than stock.

    There is one that drives around here with that type of conversion. The old Ford dealer in SB did it when they had a body shop before they went belly up. It looks hideous, simply hideous. I have known other local Mustang owners that leave notes on the guys car reminding him how bad it looks.

    trouble code after hypertech flash plz reply

    You need to drive the car to clear the readiness monitors. A P1000 means they have not all been run. Whenever you disconnect the battery to clear a code you are left with a P1000 code. Really this is first hour of OBD2 training.
