I have an 04 Mountaineer motor. Since its a PI motor, are the Heads and Cams compatible with my 97/98 NPI motor?

Yes, but odds are that has an aluminum block which would knock about 100lbs off the front end of your Mustang and help handling tremendously.

Is there anything wrong with the donor motor? If not, why not swap the whole motor? If this is an WAP block, you will love the weight savings.

the motor was pulled because it had a "bad rapping sound". Thats all i know about the motor, yes it is an alum block.

I just finished doing an engine swap (npi to npi) I dont have the time or shop anymore to do another swap.
