75mm TB too much? What MAF to get?

The car already has a the 75mm TB, I just wasn't sure if I should get something smaller or not. If I get the P.I. intake, should I still use the Trick Flow upper plenum I already have and use just the lower P.I. intake, or would I be better off using the upper and lower P.I. intake?

75mm TB too much? What MAF to get?

I just bought a 98 gt convertible a couple weeks ago. It already has a Trick Flow upper intake plenum, BBK CAI, and a BBK 75mm throttle body. As far as I can tell the MAF is still stock. I have a couple questions. One is the 75mm TB too much? The car is daily driver and I never race it or...

98 GT vert for a DD, bad idea?

Well I ended up buying it and so far I couldn't be happier. It gets almost the same gas mileage as my subaru did. It's rained 3 out of the 4 days I've had it so far and it's still been great. I've had 2 foxbody verts in the past and I hated driving with the top up (rattling, noisy, drafty...

98 GT vert for a DD, bad idea?

I was kinda expecting/hoping to hear this wouldn't be a good idea lol. Considering I spend a good chunk of my life working right now, why not make the commute fun right? I guess if all goes well I'll be posting some pics tonight.....

98 GT vert for a DD, bad idea?

Yeah I know. I should have never wasted time even buying the Subaru. It's a nice car, but no fun. I keep my foot in check for the most part. In fact I find myself having a lead foot more in my Subaru then I ever did in the Cobra I had. Probably because the Legacy is so damn slow. This...

98 GT vert for a DD, bad idea?

I test drove this 98 I'm looking at and it didn't squeak/rattle at all. I'm sure it would eventually though..... How's the gas mileage in the 96-98 GTs? I would probably keep the stock gears in it....

98 GT vert for a DD, bad idea?

Recently I sold my 96 Cobra that I used as a daily driver to get something more economical. I bought an 05 Subaru Legacy. I like the car a lot, but after only a short time I am very bored with it. I found a 98 gt vert for sale that is really clean, almost stock except for Flowmasters and...

    90 gt convertible + lip spoiler =....

Well I painted it red to see if it would look any better. It looks a little better, but still looks too small and out of place. Think I'll be going with a cobra spoiler. The pictures don't do it justice I guess because the lip does look better in person. It doesn't really look like a piece...

    90 gt convertible + lip spoiler =....

I'm going to try painting it red over the weekend and see if that makes it look any better. It probably won't though. I like it less and less every time I look at it....

    90 gt convertible + lip spoiler =....

No offense taken. Thats why I posted this, to get people's opinions. I can't make up my mind. Some angles I think it looks ok, others I think it looks like just a piece of misplaced rubber. Maybe painting it red will take away that cheap rubber look?

    90 gt convertible + lip spoiler =....

Thanks :nice: Yeah I'm starting to think that too the more and more I look at it. Might look better on an LX? I got it off of ebay for like $25. It's some company that makes M3 style lip spoilers for pretty much any car you want. I bought one for my 05 Legacy and liked it so I figured...

    90 gt convertible + lip spoiler =....

I know these pics are bad but hopefully they give the idea. If it looks wavy in some of the pics, it's because it's not attached yet. Just wanted to get an idea of what it will look like. Ignore the paint on the trunk also, it's just spray painted until I get it done professionally. I can't...

    advice for suspension setup

Ha yeah I'm interested. I'm not looking for hardcore race stuff anyway, just a nice weekend driver that looks/handles nice. I was looking to see if there were any good packages available anywhere and didn't see that one so thank you for the link

    advice for suspension setup

Thanks for all the info guys. I guess it would make sense just to get a full set of springs instead of mixing and matching. I don't really have an exact number as far as a budget goes. I have around $2,500 burning a hole in my pocket from selling a 96 Cobra I had. I like to to do my mods in...

    advice for suspension setup

I have a 1990 GT convertible that is basically stock other than exhaust. I want to do some work to the suspension and need some advice on what direction to take. The car will never see a drag strip. My goal for the car is for it to be a nice weekend cruiser that sits nice and handles nice...

    Looking for pics of Verts...

Here's my work in progress. Bad pics, but you get the idea. Can't decide to leave the trunk lid wingless, add a cobra spoiler, or a McLaren spoiler. I've had the car since 2001. Finally planning on giving it the upgrades and attention it deserves as soon as I sell the cobra...

Few new pics of the stang

Sorry to change the subject, but how do you like that Kia? I've been considering getting one of those for a daily driver myself. Nice stang by the way, looks great
