Those of you that got blown . . .

You're running 10psi? What CR is your motor? Do you have any idea how much power you're putting out? The kit that I have comes with a 7.5psi pulley, but I was planning on changing it to 10psi. My motor has an 8.5:1 CR, so I'm assuming that 10psi will be fine.

Those of you that got blown . . .

Thanks for the replies so far. I already have the Paxton Novi 1500 kit, which includes the carb enclosure assembly. So, I'm assuming that I won't need to do any work to my carb. Sounds like you guys were able to handle the install on your own. I think I'm going to just do the install...

Did you do the install yourself? Or, did you have someone else do the install? About how many hours or how much $$$ was involved in your install? Thanks.

Hydraulic Flat Tappet vs. Hydraulic Roller

All I was asking for was some pros and cons about roller vs. hydraulic. . . not for someone to try to prove me wrong. Also, in my first post and poll question, I specifically mentioned ADDITIONAL cost . . . not the total cost. I already have a built 347 with nothing stock in it. I pulled it...

Hydraulic Flat Tappet vs. Hydraulic Roller

Well, I was figuring $400 in my case. I already have the other stuff. I just need a new cam and lifters. The difference in price from Summit is about $350 since I need to get a new cam anyways. Then, another $50 for the retrofit kit.

Hydraulic Flat Tappet vs. Hydraulic Roller

I currently have a hydraulic flat tappet cam and wanted to order a new cam today because I'm going to be adding a supercharger in a couple months. So, I was considering doing a retrofit to a hydraulic roller cam. Would changing over to a roller cam be worth the additional cost? About $400...

    HELP -- Belt Question

Does the Paxton setup come with a crank pulley for the v-belts and the blower? Or, is it just a pulley for the blower that you use with your existing crank pulley?

    HELP -- Belt Question

Hey, thanks for the great answer. :notnice: I was wondering about the belt setup with the blower and A/C and I didn't really feel like calling Paxton while I'm at work. If I would have had any other questions about the blower setup . . . I would have asked. Since I didn't ask about...

    Paxton Crank Pulley?? A/C?? HELP!!

I'm hoping that someone will be able to help me out. I have a '66 Fastback and I would like to add a Paxton supercharger, but I'm not sure how it can work with an A/C unit. I found a March Performance pulley setup that will work with the A/C. It's a serpentine conversion for the crank...

    Question about compression ratio?

Hello, I would like to add a supercharger sometime in the future and had a question. I'm planning on changing my pistons to drop my compression down to 8.5:1 and change to a blower cam so that I would be able to add forced induction in the future. My question is, how would the car...
