    I just saw a black spot by my rear passanger tire. I crawled underneath and looked at my tire and there is black crud all over the inside of my wheel, wheel well, and there is also black liqued on my inner part of the tire. I am guessing its brake fluid. What could be the problem? Also...

    After I asked them about the initial response I got from them they finally got back to me. They said that their 4 lug wheels are for 87-93 Mustangs and a 275 tire would normally not have room.

    But the 265s are very similar in diameter to the 275s. Would it be a big problem for the speedo if I do 265. Kumhousa.com has a chart for each of their wheels and one of the rows has diameter. The 265/40 is 25.4 and the 275/40 is 25.7.

    you dont have a little piece of clear platic that is on the left side of the shifter? mine is old so it is cloudy but I can still see the letters for what gear. :shrug:

    It does not happen when I drive the car hard. It is when I am going at low speeds. I will give the car a little gas and hold it and it seems like it is waiting to go to the next gear and when it does it jolts. I am almost coasting when it happens so I am not driving it hard at all.

    The backspacing for the 17x8 is 4.95" and the 17x9 is 5.95". I would also get a 1/4" wheel spacer for the rear. Would the 275 fit with that backspacing and the spacer?

    It has a display for what gear you are in. Mine is a little difficult to see. Once you get use to the shifter you will never need to look down to see what gear you are in..at least that is how I am. I do have a pic but I do not know how to post it and I do not want to download any programs.
