    I have Moser axles with a Ford 31 spline T-lock. I've never had a problem with the axles, but I have broken a T-lock already. I should get one of those girdle covers to strengthen everything up a little.

    HO Fibertrends I hear is one of the best also. I don't think you can go wrong with them. It's not a crap shoot like some of the other companies.

    If you make peak power at 6000 rpms, I think you would want to cross the line somewhere around there. Determine your gear ratio based on that. I know that not too specific, but I'm sure someone else can help you out more. There's plenty of online calculators that will help you out.

    if you're going to be changing your mounts, start spraying down te bolts now with something to help loosen them up. i bet they're on there pretty good.

    stack them in there as crazy pete suggests above. then you want to get the biggest shims in there as possible. remember how i stood an axle up and rotated the whole assembly on there to get the spider and side gears back in? if you get them in there without much effort, then it's too loose...

    divide number of ring gear teeth by number of pinion teeth. in this case, the ring gear has 39, and the pinion has 11.

    i've been having slight problems lately. sometimes a bit sluggish. most of the time i have to press the back button 2, sometimes 3 times before it responds. just thought it couldn't hurt to say something.

    28" tire is definatly too big. go with a 26x10.5 or 26x11.5 ET Streets, or maybe a 26x8.5 or 26x10 ET Drag. hoosier sizes should run about the same. any way you look at it, the 28" tires are hurting performance.

    seeing it's used, hopefully it's designed for N/A, because they are made different. i have a Pro-M and i have no complaints. car runs like a champ. i can't recall ever hearing anything bad about Pro-M, C&L on the other hand :rolleyes:

    the car is set up more for drag racing than anything. i haven't installed the rears yet, but i plan on starting with the 50/50 setting first.
