what is a charger motion plate?

I found a better explanation then would I could give... "At the end of each intake runner was a new-to-Mustang feature Ford called a charge motion control valve. At low engine speeds and light loads, these specially shaped control flaps closed to speed the intake charge and induce a tumble...

what is a charger motion plate?

Charge motion plates are plates located in the intake runners that have butterflies controlled by a motor that open and close depending on the position of the throttle. The delete plates get rid of the butterflies, thus ridding the intake of any obstructions. Some people have reported the...

Just Added CDC Aggressive Chin What do you thin?

I like the spoiler, very, well... agressive! I'm not perticularly fond of the flat black, I would rather have it painted, but that's just my opinion. I think it still looks pretty sharp! :nice:

Jumped on the cowl hood bandwagon! (pics)

Hey man, I saw the post you made with your hood and it got me so excited! My hood was on it's way to the shop to get painted and it couldn't get there quick enough! I've gotten up to about 85 so far and it looks like it's going to be fine. I really don't do any high speed driving besides the...

Jumped on the cowl hood bandwagon! (pics)

Haha! Thanks man! I love the look and couldn't be happier! Just a tip, when it comes time to ship the hood (if you order online), have them send it to the body shop. It's about 75 dollars more to have it shipped to your house since it ships freight.

Jumped on the cowl hood bandwagon! (pics)

You know, that's a pretty good idea. I don't think I want the one's that have the wire that loops over the front though, but it will give me a pretty good idea of what they will look like. Thanks!

Jumped on the cowl hood bandwagon! (pics)

I've been entertaining the thought of a different hood for a while and finally pulled the trigger. I love the look of the cowl and couldn't find another hood that I just fell in love with. I'm still debating on whether or not to get hood pins. I know it's recommended, but I'm a little worried...

    Back in the saddle again

I did the same thing you did, I had an 02 GT, got rid of it for an Audi, then got rid of that a year later for my 07. I haven't expierenced the wheel hop like other people have mentioned, so I'd have to say the first mod(s) I'd recommend would be CAI+tune from either Bamachips.com or...

    CDC Classic Chin Spoiler

I wound up paying more than most people, but I believe you should be able to get it painted for around $175-$200. Mine ended up being around $250, but I don't mind, they did a great job on it. If I had to do it again, I would have gotten one from here and installed it myself...

    My car is slow!

Definitely sounds like a tune problem. I'd give whoever you got the tune from a call and explain what's going on.

The predator won't turn them off? I'll be danged, I could have sworn it would. Oh well, sorry! :)

    My car is slow!

I'm sure you did, but just to ask, did you have a new tune loaded to accommodate the delete plates? I installed them and ran consistently faster at my track (.1 and .2), and with the gears, I would think that you'd be quicker. Can you give a before and after time slip? If you don't have one...

    NEW PARTS

Nope, no loss in HP or torque. They are completely straight through, so they don't restrict flow, just alter the sound. I was very close to pulling the H-pipe off right after I installed it because of how loud it was and how bad the trumpets were. I was literally embarrassed every time I hit...

Noise after installation of aluminum DS

I don't have the 4.10's, but I do have a PH drive shaft. I didn't notice an increase in noise at all. Are you getting any noticeable vibrations at around 45-50MPH or is anything else going on besides the noise? What type of noise is it?

    NEW PARTS

I know you said you are getting the mil eliminators, but do you have a handheld tuner (SCT or Predator)? The only reason I ask is that's usually the first thing people get and you can turn it off with that, so there would be no need for the mil eliminators. Install is very easy, I did mine...
