    onmy moms saturn in 2nd gear the highest on the redline it will go is 7200 maybe thats the limit of that gear.

    ok heres what iam gonna do....go to a JY get a whole motor harness and ecu, change the blocks and such try out the supercharger idea... If it fails I just swap the harness, and finish putting the turbo motor back togeather. hows that sound?

    wellI guess I could save myself a grand of cash but I will give it a shot....maybe even pull the whole motor and harnes, keep it around incase the SCer idea dont work. I dont like repinning and whatnot

    I could do that, but I dont want to buy something that could look good but when the project is all said and done I have a con ron sticking out somewhere. I dont trust JYs when it comes to a motor and sutff like that, know what I mean?

    Iam not taking a turbo motor and droping the turbo and putting a SCer on it iam takin gmy na motor and sc it...which is why I need to build the lower end...that will only take about 1300to do. civil it shall be and my point is that you can do more with 2.3s than just turbo them.

    can you say i dont race 1/4mile. Would be nice to have but after all the crap pfrom v8 owners Ive heard from iam not gonna build a v8 ever again...the last one i built was a 77 chevy 305 and that split in half... some day I will prolly have a v8 again but no untill I prove a point
