I know stuff is in the way but if there is a hole big enough for a socket on a long extension , you can remove the bolts that hold the latch plate to the tail light panel and the trunk will open .     ID guess you could get a plastic pan/container and fill it up high enough to cover the intake manifold with muratic acid (pool supply) . That would get it out of there . Just be careful of the fumes as they can KO you .
