Pulleys? Anyone with good or bad experiences?

Lesson Learned!!! I bought the cheaper piggy-back style pulleys. Hear it is about a week of running time on the pulleys and i look under the hood only to see one of the alignment screws just henging out of the hole. The other two are completely gone. I was already pissed about that when i...

BBK O/R X Pipe Owners - STEP INSIDE!

Mac long tube headers, BBK O/R x-pipe and american thunder cat back system. I couldn't be happier with the sound of my stang. Noticed that the people that liked the sound of this combination have headers? Maybe that makes a difference. Jake

    Solid Lash Adjusters

Due to the fact that they require adjusting every few thousand miles or so i wouldn't do them on a street car. Have you noticed how much trouble is involved in removing the cam covers with the engine in the car. I suggest you do some research over on modular depot about this. Jake

    TB or Pulleys which one????

Go with the pulleys. The pulleys will give you a slight SOTP gain AND give you better milage. The throttle body won't give oyu much and it probably will take away from gas milage. Jake

    Doors Opening Wider

When see or hear the term quadrapledgic i don't sit and think about root meanings of words. I just know it pertaining to someone who is pretty much wheelchair bound. Get your head out of your @$$ and cut a new fellow board member some slack. Welcome to Stangnet Gump. Ignore the ignorant a-holes...

    Need Help!! Stang shuts down!!

I definately need a tune. I've heard some people do the swap and engine runs fine without a tune, but i apparently am not that lucky. I think the computer is throwing itself into safe mode due to all of the changes that i've made. If the timing it off just a notch or two, can that be adjusted...

    New Member with Gear Question

Don't doubt yourself b/c of me. I drive a 98 5speed with 2.73's. I thought it was 3.27s that were the option, but now that you say it, i think it was 3.08s as the option. My mistake :bang:

    New Member with Gear Question

the 98 came stock with 2.73 gear ratio, with the option to upgrade to 3.27 gear ratio. This would give it a bit more acceleration off the line.

    fuel pressure regulator 98 GT?

Joel, I haven't had my car on the dyno yet. In fact i'm still wrapping up the finishing touches on my headswap project. Seems that every possible thing that could have gone wrong has happened during this project. It's very likely that i will get things together sometime this week and i'm heading...

    Decrease Stang's Turning Radius?

sounds like what you need isn't more steering movement, but rather you need a quicker ratio steering box. That would allow you to react quicker to the oversteer problems you are having. Just my .02 Jake
