    rear end help?

It will be cheaper and easier to fix up your 9 than put a 8.8 in your car.

If you like digital check out Mallory. Much less green and mine in my F150 has been going strong for two years. Check summit racing web sight and you find all the products mentioned.

Too much cam? Please help diagnose

There is an outfit that makes a hydro- boost master cylinder that runs using the power steering pump. Old school are vacuum cans, electric vacuum pumps. I'm also planning to much cam for daily driving and am leaning toward the hydroboost or just keeping manual brakes. Check out Summit for prices...

    Edel Carb

You might also slow down the opening of your seconderies. If they let air in to fast that will cause a stumble until fuel and rpm can catch up to the air flow.

    MSD Distributor Install Problems

The pump shaft is not going into the distributer. Try turning the rotor a bit. It doesn't matter were it 's pointing, just set your plug wires to line up. If you want to keep the wires in place use a primer shaft to turn the pump a bit. About ten bucks at most auto shops. IMHO I would use some...

    ignition

That is the normal voltage range of cars with altenators. If you are still running a point distributer you will have better luck putting in a breakerless distributer first, then if needed add the msd box.

    dynacorn question, not debate :)

The cool thing about their one piece seat pan is it made to use with out vert rockers. I'm going to try one my self, but have some worries that it might need custom carpet.

Need a new fender for a 69. How good is the NPD repro stuff?

I see original fenders for sale on Craigs list for around a hundred bucks. Might try to find the real deal. If your door isn't totaly gone you might just get the skin. My skin from npd fit very well and was much cheaper than the whole door.

    My first yoke change.

IMHO do it right the first time. It will cost alot more to replace broken parts. Beside the crush sleeve you should replace the pinion seal.

Check the search for g3 altanator swaps. Some good diagrams for this cheap swap.

    Floor pans

You might look for some liquid metal to fill the pin holes. Use the tape on the bottom to keep it from leaking through. I find the stuff even in dept. store auto sections. The marine clean that you should find on the shelf next to to the POR 15 is good stuff. You need to really degrease and have...

    Head gasket suggestions

I would do a compression test befor pulling head. My money would be on a leaking intake manifold. The oil is brought to the valvetrain in your push rods. It drains back to the pan by openings around your push rods. Your heads don't have oil under pressure in the castings themselves. I would look...

    Installation suggestion

I would just use an ignition kill switch and a steering wheel lock. If you make it to complex you won't use it. The only alarm system I would use would be with a pager set up. Alarms going off in parking lots is so common that nobody even looks any more. Some even use gps location to find your...

    Car Audio experts, step inside....

I would first look for what caused the burning smell. The rest won't matter if your car catches on fire. You should have blown a fuse before the smell got that strong. Sounds like an unprotected wire shorting out. I think the last time I used a noise filter it was installed in the power supply...

    Rust Question

I encourage you to learn to weld and do the body work. You will save tons of green and have a welder to keep. Use epoxy primer after the car is blasted. It's more expensive but is water proof unlike cheaper lacquers. I would get the car blasted by a pro, the equipment and proper media will cost...

    Expanding Foam

The home stores sell foam for use around doors and windows that are much less damaging. If you use this in rocker make sure you drill some releif holes to allow a place for the extra to vent out and 100 % sure are completly filled. This stuff sticks to every thing so mask everythig very well...

    Wish List!

How about power steering probobly non rack and pinion that doesn't cost a couple of grand. I'm not an engineer, but seems a more simple system like in 70's pick- ups could be made to work with cheap reliable off the shelf parts and a minimal of custum parts.
