    Guess what??...Another compression question!!!

Not sure what's going on with #5, but your comp. numbers look good. When you say you were overflowing on the radiator, was that after you purged the air out of the system?

    T-Top Help.....

You could always buy some aluminum and a can of that tool dip stuff(handle coating) and make some guides and then coat them with that stuff. I would think that would work well. Either that or cut up a cheap plastic cutting block and use it.

    T-Top Help.....

Where is it pulling away at? Top, A-pillar, B-pillar? If it's the top, I suspect you could fab some sort of aluminum reinforcement that would push the outer w-strip to the window. If it's the B-piller, you probably need to shim the w-strip. I have heard of people needing to shim some of the...

EFI guru's help- CFI to EFI swap

You should be fine. There are very few wires which go to the dash. Just comb through your wiring diagrams and figure out which ones you need. I suspect you'll have the option of either running seperate wires or swapping connectors on one side or the other. Should be simple though since...

what are my chances on this install

All you really need is some prussian(sp) blue and a dial indicator with a magnet base as far as setup. Get the install kit too. Bearings, seals, shims, etc. Cheap!

    Torn doors???

Just curious if it was something new or not. I'll be fixing it as soon as I get the car in my hands.

    windsor jr heads

IIRC, the World Products Windsor Jr's flow a little better than the GT-40P's. I speculate that with some porting they could flow significantly more. For $300 though I would ****** them up in a heart beat.

    Torn doors???

Torn doors??? (T-top & vert owners) The Capri (t-top) I'm picking up has tears at the top of the doors on both sides. It's on the inner sheet metal and it almost seems like the glass pushing on the outer shell has torn the metal. Is this common? It shouldn't be a hard fix, but it bothered my...

To buy or not to buy...Performer RPM

I'm probably going to get it and spring for a 351W lower from Professional Products. I think it will suit my Windsor better than the 5.0

    Black hose going into fenderwell

That's probably the line to the fuel tank for emissions. It will go to the charcoal canister mounted on the front of the frame rail. If you've removed the canister, you can remove the line.

To buy or not to buy...Performer RPM

So for the price, is it a deal? What do they usually go for used?

To buy or not to buy...Performer RPM

There's one for sale locally, and I have no idea if he's asking a good price or not. I can get it for $300 out the door. The guy ported the lower some and gasket matched to a Felpro 1262. The only problem is that theres a small crack on the upper manifold rear mounting hole. I would imagine...

Cold air intake on 5.0 with H/C/I

I think your gains are going to come from being able to pass the air through the filter efficiently. You really just need a source of non-engine bay air and a large enough filter to allow free-flow without restriction. You generally have to go CAI to do that though.

    The Power!!!!! (gt40p question)

Either that or it's the change level, but I doubt it. It's probably performance or production. Who knows... BTW, even though the P heads have smaller valves, they still flow better than the standard GT-40's, E-7's, and '70 Windsors. They are an excellent example of port velocity vs. valve...

    timing questions

Most folks turn it up until it pings and then back it down a degree or two, which tends to be about 14°. That's about the only way to know if you're truly optimizing your advance. What kind of compression are you running? That makes a difference too.

    EFI conversion?

As tbovee said, there's only a few wires that need to be run out from the harness. They generally pick up power at a main fuse/relay box in the engine bay. Again, as he said, you need good grounds to the block and chasis. If you find a good harness or donor car, you should be able to find the...

mechanical roller? or just stick to hydraulic?

X2 For realistic street/strip cars, hydraulic roller.
