    the interior isn't out yet, but will be soon.....hopefully. i remember seeing lizard skin on one of those sunday morning DIY car shows on spike. they seemed to like it, but i'm going to go out on a limb here and assume they were PAID to say that :shrug:.

    once i get the interior pulled out the first thing to go back in will be a roll cage. i've looked at the ones that maximum motosports offers and the cages from jegs. i talked to a local shop that will do a 6 pt cage for about $400. for the same money i can get a much more "involved" cage from...

    how do you remove the rear seats (both the seat cusions and the seat back)? i was looking at them yesterday and don't see a readily apparent way to remove them. i'm going from porno red to black and grey. looks like i better bone up on how to paint interior pieces :D

    that's always an option too. afterall, the car is still in 1000 pieces so it's not like i need to have the heads tomorrow. i'll keep my eyes open for the right deal and see what happens.

    just looked around a little bit, and if i'm looking at the correct heads i'm in the $1500 per set neighborhood. does that sound about right? if that's the case, gonna have to pass. i need to save SOME money for the suspension :D i really thought iron heads would be considerably cheaper...

    i haven't looked at the link posted above just yet so this question may already be answered but how would the eddy heads compare to aluminum GT40x heads? they both seem to run about the same price new, i'm suspecting they'd run about the same price on the used market?

    thanx for the input! that's really the comparison i was looking for. it's not too hard to find the GT40 heads and they seem to run around $200-$250. for another couple hundred bucks i could possibly step up to a used set of these aluminums and it sounds like i'll be much happier in the long...
