    eBay Coil on plugs - junk?

    I bought a Motorcraft brand off ebay for $30 and it's working great. The stock Ford brand have black epoxy on top while the Motorcraft have white epoxy. Everything else is the same.

    Testing for a miss

    The only way to fix it yourself is get a new one from ebay ($30) and swap them out 1 by 1. I had a bad one and it ohm'd out fine. It also worked normally on idle. You can also take it to the dealer. They have a computer that will check each one on the scope.

    mcleod or centerforce clutch?

    I had a McLeod and it never worked correctly. I now have a Centerforce and couldn't be happier. The clutch effort is less on the Centerforce too.

    is my fuel pressure right?

    My car gets 40PSI. When my fuel pump was bad, it dropped down to 10PSI over 3500RPM. When the car was still, it showed no signs of being bad since the engine was not using enough gas for a pressure drop. If you can, watch your fuel pressure while your driving and see if it drops...

    My 275 Kumho's 712's rubbed some. But I couldn't stand the way they tracked on the road. I'm more happy with my 255's now.

    Looking for easy way to check coils

    There is no way to Ohm out the COP to see if it's bad. I had a bad one and it measured everything good. The easiest way is to buy a spare COP on ebay for $30 and swap them out 1 by 1. If you can, check your fuel pressure to check if the fuel pump is good.
