just an OEM replacement for like $35.My stock one was screwed. When the a/c kicked in, the pulley would rub the cover behind it.Figured I would change it before it made a hole.Working fine now. :nice:
thanks guys
I am installing a new serpentine tensioner on my 01gt and I was wondering if I needed to add any kind of lubricant to it.
Thanks in advance for your help.

You should be watching rpms, not mph, and never downshift from third to first, just clutch and brake and maybe go to second or just leave it in neutral.
No, it is not needed. There is a small amount that comes out when you change pullies, but no leaks. Also, as stated before, it uses the stock belt.A pretty straightforward install.
Where do you live?Shoot for high 14s so you aren't disappointed when you pull a 2.4 60ft.The first time you are nervous, an that plays a big role.I pulled 14 flat in my 01 vert stock, but it wasn't the first time at the track.Good Luck and have fun:nice:
