Tensioner

I am installing a new serpentine tensioner on my 01gt and I was wondering if I needed to add any kind of lubricant to it.

shouldn't need it, i've installed my idler with no problems with none

just an OEM replacement for like $35.My stock one was screwed.When the a/c kicked in, the pulley would rub the cover behind it.Figured I would change it before it made a hole.Working fine now.
