    A friend of mine had SLP longtubes, SLP O/R X pipe, and the LM1 catback on his '01GT. After about a week he started wearing earplugs when driving. It sounded like complete **** at about 120db.

    Correct, if you don't have some humongous stereo setup or anything that really pulls on the electrical system then the Red Top will be fine for you.

    If you plan on running slicks you need to put some 3in. axle studs on there. Quite a few tracks won't let you run slicks unless you have them.

    The TPS reads 23? Is that 23V, 2.3V, or .23V. If I remember correctly it should read between .95v -.99v when fully closed. If it's reading higher then make sure that the TB is closing completely.

    I put a Fidanza stage 2 clutch & aluminum flywheel in my ride with an OEM TB. The pedal is just slightly stiffer than stock. So far the cluth has been great.

    Be aware that with the canned tunes in tuners now you cannot turn off the O2's or change any OBDII settings. You can still have them turned off with a custom tune though.

    I agree, try a fluid change first. However, don't put the friction modifier in it when you do the change. then see if it feels any different.

    Not necessarily. Having a bend in the pipe right in front of the MAF is where some people have problems. The air rushing in comes around the bend and tends to stay against the back wall of the pipe. This can cause the MAF to read less air, therefore leaning out the air/fuel, which gives a...

    So it was the belt chirping? If so there's possibly that one or more pulleys might be slightly out of alignment. Or, it could just be that the belt is getting a little old and needs to be changed.

    The chirping is possibly the serpentine belt. Try spraying a mist of water on the belt while is running and see if the chirp goes away.

    Put all the bolts in with your fingers and thread at least 5 or 6 threads in before you use any tools on them. This ensures that you won't mess up another one.
