    thank you for your response. So do you think it would be as simple as taking the offset of the stock new edge rim and adding (or subtracting) 1.5" when ordering the wheel? the fox currently has 4cyl springs under it. My intention is to bring the new edge suspension over with the k frame/ axle.

    The noise was coming from the cable contacting the back of the quadrant where the retainer pin is and slipping off to the side. Ground down the firewall adjuster flange about a quarter inch, got the cable on the second hook and it works great.

    If your question is can you set the car on its wheels with no front struts, the answer is no, the wheels will be flopping around and won't stay upright. You can put jackstands under the control arms though, the springs will stay in just fine.
