    Fuel Tank Sending Unit

Hi, If you add your location, it would be easier to recommend a vendor nearby, to save you turn-around time. Most all of the mustang vendors carry as good a quality as the other. Most all of them are, most likely, coming from an offshore mfg. Good Luck

    Starter Hardware Size

Hi, I agree with the others, get the correct bolts. However, I know you can't wait to fire it up and get going. So, buy grade "8" bolts and use star washers. I haven't seen mine in a long time, but the size should not be hard to determine. Good Luck!

    new project

Hi, The size of the pain, is relative your skill sets and tools on_hand. When I did my resto, much of it included what you mention and more. A "professional" shop wanted $15K. I purchased $2k in appropriate tools and did the work myself, however, it did take 5-6 years. In the end, I only sub'ed...

Radiators and cooling problems my observations

OK. Adding a coolant recovery system will increase the coolant volume. This will come via the coolant system "burping" that 1/2' layer of air and replacing it with coolant. I don't say this is the "end-all", but, it does insure the coolant system is at max volume. Continued good luck!

    Interesting Problem

Hi Well, I guess it's a matter of digging through the ckt(s) to see how the two are related. Did the PO add the Painless wiring? Perhaps, you can contact them for a diagram. Good Luck!

Radiators and cooling problems my observations

Hi, Enlight of your ambient temps of 100+, I don't regard the 200 deg as a problem. I do think you should drop that tranny cooler down, as to not add to the heated air stream. Yes, having a condenser in front, as well, adds to your incoming heat. But, this is the price to pay for AC. Are you...

    Checking Pushrod Length

Hi, I don't claim to be any kind of a great builder, only that I've managed to survived the rigors of road racing where endurance is key, not straight line flash. What you bring to the table is a re-enforcement of how important it is, and how intricate this often over looked, yet important...

    Checking Pushrod Length

Hi, I'm running a very successful build, that I assembled myself. I used checking springs, adjustable P/Rs with the lifters (link bar hydraulics) I was going to run. I've followed the recommendations of having a centered pattern with a width of about .070. This worked for me. It is important to...

    Hagerty Insurance?

Hi From perspective, I looked at the fact my DD (daily driver) Ins. company would not, within reason, insure my classic to my satisfaction. So, I looked at classic insurers as this is where their expertise lies. Thus, they got my money. IMHO, Allstate, Statewide, Progressive, etc are not...
